Theater that Inspires

The Lead Players Theatre Co. aims to bring the classics into the 21st Century. Although classical theatre is often seen as only for “intellectuals”, originally these plays were written for everyday people who wanted to be entertained for an hour or two. These plays, and the characters in them, deal with everyday situations and feelings which remain present in today’s world. 

Our mission is to heighten the experience of classical theatre, highlighting the situations that these well known characters are traversing in order to explore their experience through the universal language that all humans share: the emotional journey.
